In these typical "mandala" or "cruciform" shaped paintings (the same as in the Mandala Series) the basic overall shape is formed by crossing two Phi rectangles over each other. The silver-gray space-shape's physical structure is made of two triangles; what looks like folds in the lower half of it is really an optical illusion.
